Stay Dedicated! Tips to a Successful New Year’s Resolution

​Happy New Year from all of us at Airelle! We hope the new year brings health and happiness to you and your loved ones. Along with the cheer and celebration of the new year also comes new year’s resolutions. Many of us like to make New Year’s resolutions, but often times those resolutions have a very short life. We start off the year with so much motivation and desire to achieve that resolution, but it isn’t long before our resolution becomes a distant memory. Here are some tips to help you maintain your New Year’s Resolution:

1. Choose the right resolution. Many resolutions are doomed from the start because they are not made with serious intent and thought. The first trick is to choose the right resolution and for the right reasons. Give some thought to what you really want and why you want it. 

2. Create a plan and write it down. Most resolutions fail because people stop once they've made the resolution. It is important to make a plan for yourself to follow, and write it down. Have goals along the way to make sure you are making progress towards achieving that resolution. Having a written plan will help keep you on track and keep your eyes on the end result. 

3.Stay on track. Depending on your resolution and how difficult it may be to achieve, it is important to stay on track. If your resolution is to workout more, don’t come up with excuses to put it off until the next day. Follow through with the plan you have made. If you start slacking off, it is not long before the whole resolution becomes a distant memory.
